Luis (of Calico) came to my home to provide an estimate and advise me on types of stain to use. He is extremely knowledgeable about stains and paints and the correct way to apply them. His estimate was quite reasonable and I hired his professionals, Luis and Carlos, to prepare for and do the staining. I also had them stain the wood shingles on my two tiny houses (on trailers). I was impressed by how carefully and thoroughly they applied the stain, their attention to detail, and how hard they worked. Calico is honest and friendly. I was so impressed with Calico that I subsequently hired them to paint one of my tiny houses - also an excellent job. I will use Calico in the future when I need painting/staining services and I recommend them to everyone!"

"After getting 4 different estimates for a large painting project (exterior, deck staining, and some interior), I chose Calico Painting. This was a great choice. Luis, the company owner is extremely detailed and thorough. He had recommendations for different types of paint finishes, and a clear explanation of why one was better over another. He was more than just interested in the money, he wanted to do a good job. His crew worked tirelessly to complete the project. They were ALWAYS on time at 8am sharp. When I added another large project in the middle, they executed it perfectly. These guys are highly competent. Their equipment is top notch, and they also use safety precautions like gas masks when spraying paint.
